Assessing the Problem and Developing a Plan
When we were contacted by the homeowners, we discovered that the leaking shower was due to faulty waterproofing and a burst pipe behind the wall tiles. To fix the issue, we had to remove the tiles, fix the leak, and waterproof the area before replacing the tiles. However, the homeowners also wanted to make some other changes to the bathroom, including adding a toilet and changing the layout. We worked closely with them to develop a plan that would meet their needs in terms of functionality, design, and budget.
Installing Modern Fixtures and Custom Design
Once the plan had been agreed upon, we began the installation process. We installed black tapware to complement the modern colour scheme of grey floor tiles and white wall tiles. We also installed a freestanding bath, which gave the bathroom a luxurious feel while still being functional for their young family. We also helped with the design of the floating vanity and the custom-made jarrah benchtop, which added a unique and personal touch to the bathroom.
Prioritising Functionality and Storage
Despite being a medium-sized bathroom, the homeowners decided to have only a single vanity as a bath, shower, and second toilet were higher priorities for them. However, to ensure that they had sufficient storage space, they also installed extra shelving in their walk-in robe for bathroom items that weren’t used regularly.

The result of the renovation was a modern and functional bathroom that exceeded the homeowners’ expectations. They were delighted with the attention to detail and the quality of workmanship that we provided.
